Ethereum Gas Prices (processing fees) are running up to $60 to $70 per art piece. 

You can check gas fees on https://ethgasstation.info/ before getting started on Rarible. 

Purchasing cost of Ethereum, ad hoc, also runs up to about $10. 

So I'm exploring alternatives, a few just starting up. https://epor.io/ not launched yet, but let me know if you find an Ethereum alternative to produce NFTs.
